Fell asleep before I posted this. I am having serious problems with this staying awake business. Anyways:
Today was nice but also hellish. I got to wake up late which is a nice change. My boss apologized for being a bit ridiculous and short with me. Which was good. My classes went by pretty nicely and smoothly. I know I’m a strict teacher but I really feel it benefits everyone. I refuse to change my habits because I don’t want to lower my expectations of the kids. The expectations are too low anyways. They have so much untapped potential and by not having higher expectations I really feel that we are babying them which is never a good thing in karate, if you ask me.
Then, the heavens poured down upon us and we ended up with approximately 8 inches of snow. Sledding is a natural plus. Traffic is a definite minus. It took my dad about an hour to get to me and it took us near forty minutes to get home. Not fun.
But then I went home, realized how sick I was, watched old WEC fights with my dad, watched the replay of the Bulls game that I missed (HOLLA AT ME CLEVELAND). Total domination.
Then Pricey texted me til I fell asleep. Love him.
